In 2011, Håkan Jeppsson, CEO at the window maker Inwido picked up the phone and called Ideon. Håkan was disappointed at the speed of innovation in the windows business and wanted help.
Ideon formed an Open Innovation Challenge and invited companies, start-ups, students and others to co-create. This was the start of Ideon Open.
In 2023, Ideon Open was spun out as OpenX Lab.
And here we are, ready to pick up the phone!
